Nestled in the heart of Gomantong Jaya, INN CAFE is more than just a stop for a bite; it's a delightful experience waiting to unfold. This vibrant cafe offers a blend of local and Sarawakian fare, perfect for any meal of the day—be it breakfast, lunch, or dinner. As you step inside, you're greeted by a modern yet welcoming atmosphere that contrasts beautifully with the surrounding rural charm.

One of the highlights of INN CAFE is its diverse menu, where traditional flavors meet contemporary flair. Customers rave about the nasi goreng payau—a fragrant fried rice dish featuring wild boar meat, which is a regional delicacy. Whether you’re a fan of hearty local cuisine or seeking something refreshing, their laksa Sarawak is a must-try. It's a divine coconut-based noodle soup that perfectly balances spicy and savory notes that will awaken your taste buds. For those with a sweet tooth, indulge in the legendary roti canai accompanied by a side of ais batu kacang—a delightful crushed ice dessert that has captured the hearts of many. As customer 'Jimmy Jusi' pointed out, all dishes are halal, making this a friendly spot for everyone to enjoy.

The cafe's inviting ambiance is complemented by its cleanliness and comfort, as mentioned by a satisfied diner, 'f.', who appreciated the friendly buzz of the place despite its remote location. It's the perfect spot to relax and savor your meal after a day of exploring Sandakan’s natural wonders and rich culture.

Furthermore, INN CAFE's popularity can be attributed not only to its scrumptious offerings but also to the friendly service. The staff ensures that you feel right at home while enjoying freshly cooked meals that cater to both local and tourist palates. Customer 'khairulanuar abdulhamid' humorously noted the unavailability of mutton over payau in the region, but that only highlights the local focus and specialities of the cafe.

While enjoying your meal, you might glance around and notice the cheerful atmosphere filled with laughter and community chatter, making it a lively spot to unwind after a long day. INN CAFE is truly a gem that captures the essence of local dining while serving delicious dishes that keep patrons returning for more. So whether you're a local looking for comfort food or a traveler eager to indulge in the culinary treasures of Sabah, make sure INN CAFE is on your must-visit list during your journey through this beautiful region.

The picture I show is the food that served here. Very remote place but not quiet. There’s many people that comes here to eat. Food are definitely delicious and freshly cooked places clean and tidy make it comfortable to sit and relax. Can’t comment bout the prices because it changes overtime.

OMG!! This place is in the middle of nowhere! But buzzing with customers. Probably because of the place look modern unlike most place around there. I had the nasi goreng payau. Yes, they serve it there. Subject to availability. I just learned that mutton is more expensive than payau in that area! Ha ha

We stopped here to see how the food was when we were staying by the river as a family of four. Thankfully the food was great as were the drinks. Zedy was very helpful and spoke great English which made things even easier. We even bought aom of her sisters cookies that she was selling which were delicious!

Our driver brought us here and it’s legit sedap! Tried their ?laksa?, kway teow and Ayam penget and they were alll so yummy! Kway teow was very interesting, somewhat familiar but different from whatever we have in Singapore. The laksa is also like a mix of mee Soto and laksa? Smoothies were not too sweet which were good (avocado and mango) & in huge cups. The abc dessert was also a humongous bowl, good for sharing between 5pax?! 4 mains + 4 drinks + 1 dessert was around R115 I think. Only that if you end up at a table towards the outside, it would be extremely hot. Would 10/10 return.
